Highly original machine.

42” rim radially spoked.

Old repair on the rear fork but retaining the original rear wheel.

Tapering back bone.

Original saddle and mounting brackets.

Interesting lamp bracket being mounted on the steering head.

Original grey paint to frame and wheels.

Nickel plating present on handlebars and horn grips.

Original pedals and cranks.

Geared mechanism on front wheel present and appearing complete.

Brake mechanism accompanying the machine but not fitted.

 

This is a rare surviving geared ordinary bicycle from the very end of the penny farthing era.
